Lineage-holder Advanced Training
Aspiring Leaders of Dharma Transmission in the Contemporary World
February 2025 - July 2026
Background

Among the many lineages and traditions within Tibetan Buddhism, the Ear-Whispered Lineage of Machik Dakini stands as one of the rarest and most profound. This lineage offers a complete spiritual path to awakening, passed down through an intimate circle of wandering yogis and yoginis, from master to dedicated disciple. It has always flourished in small, personal settings, free from the rigid structures of formal institutions. Instead, the lineage has preserved its precious oral teachings through direct and delicate transmissions, unknown to the public yet profoundly blessed by the realized great masters.
When Khalkha Jetsun Dampa fled Tibet, only a few masters remained to carry on this lineage, with Rinpoche becoming its last holder. Before his passing, Rinpoche succeeded in planting the seeds of this sacred tradition in Mongolia and the West, with the hope that one day, these seeds will blossom.
Vision

Dakini’s Whisper is committed to carrying the torch of Rinpoche’s work by nurturing the small seed he planted in the West. Our mission is to preserve, transmit, and bring to life the Ear-Whispered Lineage, which stands on the verge of extinction. With this purpose, Khandro-la is forming a close-knit group of dedicated students for in-depth training, following our lineage's intimate, traditional style. Planned initiatives include retreats in Japan, offering special transmissions, training, and certifications.
In collaboration with the recently established Jetsun Dampa Initiative, founded by Khandro-la and Cameron Gehlet, we will also receive support on this training program from the prominent lineage masters on the Advisory Committee. The goal is to equip this small group to share the beauty of this authentic tradition with the modern world while fulfilling their spiritual aspirations in this lifetime.
